We celebrated Kendra's 9th birthday with a skating party in Auburn. She had not really roller skated before but was up for the challenge. She had a blast and did great! It was fun to see her gain confidence over the course of the afternoon. All the traditional skating songs were included such as the chicken dance and hokey pokey...we laughed a lot.
Well, our CA tour had to come to an end. We finished with a slow SanDiego day touring Balboa park and having dinner in Little Italy at a wonderful little pizza/pasta restaurant. Then it was off to the airport the next morning and a few flights home. Our beds welcomed us and our dreams were filled with all our favorite memories.
