room for one more

We are proud owners of a hamster we named Gus Gus. (from Cinderella, of-course)  Our friends, who moved away, blessed us with this new joy and excitement in our home.  The girls are great care takers of him and we all love to watch him run around in his ball in the afternoons and evenings when he is most awake.

preschool- day 2

On the 2nd day of preschool, Carina tried some new, fun activities.  I got to be the helper the first 3 days of school so I could take pictures and enjoy watching her discover the classroom and her new friends.

We tried our hand at growing carrots this year...I think I need to work on my green thumb!

 Chris took Carina and Katie to the park one afternoon...soon they were feeling quite photogenic!

trail ride

 I walked with Carina and Chris biked with Kendra and Katie for a family trail ride on Labor Day.  Phew, their legs were tired but a great way to get some fresh air.

a cabin day

We visited G'ma and G'pa at the cabin.  Chris and Duane took the older girls down the river and Carina and I stayed with G'ma at the cabin to get a yummy dinner ready!  So many great adventures.

1st day of school for K&K

Kendra and Katie were off to 4th and 2nd grade...Carina missed then a bunch!
