Seven!

 

The first of two...

We celebrated my mom's birthday on Friday after the riverboat tour.  Dawn made an apple pie and birthday wishes were wished by all!  Happy Birthday, Mom!

Smiles, Rivers, Lunch

We traveled down the Tennessee River via the Southern Belle Riverboat.  We enjoyed the views, tour, and lunch. 

Just Hanging Out

We had a couple of days when we went to a pool and played games...

We visited my sister at the coffee shop where she works and makes all the baked goods!  She has "groupies" who love to see what she has made that day.

The girls cleaned the living room in preparation for decorating for some birthdays.

Birthday cakes must be made.

And this is Zoey...the sweetest, quietest, puppy around.

A Furry First

Auntie Dawn and Uncle Barry bought Carina her 1st Build-a-Bear during this trip.  It is not suprising she picked one in rainbow sherbet colors and named it Emily Elizabeth!

Park and Ice Cream

It is fun to have Daddy on vacation.

We brought Zoe with us and walked across the park to an ice cream stand.

After a stop at the creek we chose our ice cream flavors.  We couldn't keep up with it as it metled in the heat.  Katie stepped in a fire ant trail but thankfully only got 3 bites on her ankle.  The ice cream and a wet rag seemed to help.

Warm Rain?

When it rains...it pours warm rain.  The girls beat the afternoon heat by playing in the biggest sprinkler ever. 

By the time Tyler joined the fun, the rain had settled but a few wet hugs did not leave him out of the fun!

Waiting to Fly

We were very excited to wake up really early and begin our adventure to TN.  Okay, maybe we weren't excited to wake up early but we were excited to start our trip.  Sadly, we were quickly halted by a 2.5 hour delay in the airport...but we settled in and waited...

and waited...

and waited...

and waited...

well, you get the idea!

Carina loves to have her picture taken and add a silly face.  So that helped to pass the time...and eventually, we made it!
