We started the day at Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel. The characters were very interactive and often sat at the tables to "talk" with Katie who was wearing her birthday button!
You may have noticed that Carina was not pictured above. She felt comfortable waving to the characters from her side of the table and kept a close eye on them as they traveled around the room. She continuously reassured herself that they were "just people in costumes with real legs and feet, right?"
The older girls joined Goofy in a dance and helped him "bake a cake" on the dance floor.
Carina was back to her normal self as we left the hotel...
